B.C. Student, New York Man Both Found Dead
Two missing persons cases with a Boston were tragically resolved Tuesday as two young men were found dead.
Police found Boston College sophomore and Westchester County, N.Y., resident Alexander Grant's body in Putnam Creek in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., late Tuesday. He was reported missing on Sunday after a house party with Skidmore College students. Police say he may have been injured during a break-in. Grant, 19, was seen on a surveillance camera breaking into a medical office after the party.
University President William P. Leahy, S.J., spoke with Grant's mother to offer condolences on behalf of B.C.
David Mark, 24, the Albany, N.Y., man missing since last Wednesday who suffered from Asperger’s syndrome and diabetes was found dead Tuesday morning in East Boston. Police said he was found on the shore of the Chelsea River near Urban Wild, a local walking park, and a commercial fishing business off Condor Street, near Meridian Street. Police said there was no sign of trauma.
